Ooh. Multiple Big Bangs???? It is actually a very famous theory I learned today. Some dude proposed like in the early 1900's that the universe had always existed and when his friend proposed that the universe came to be out of a big explotion caused by a bunch of matter contracting, he jokingly said: "... and what are you gonna call it 'The Big Bang'?", hence the name. Then, the dude actually thought that his friend might've been right, but instead of being one big bang there were multiple. The universe is expanding as we speak. Soon, like in a gazillion years or so, it will start to contract again, and according to the dude, BANG!
